Hoped you liked my April Fools on you. Took me all of 20-30 minutes to put it together! ;)
Not much to talk about... Been working on version 5.0 of the website, but right now it's more like 4.5, which is the current site, plus AJAX. (AJAX is a combination of multiple website coding languages like PHP and Javascript, combined to make powerful and unique sites.)
Mostly I'm looking at upgrading the archives layout and the way the comics are loaded. Once I finish this, it should reduce the bandwidth of the site.
Speaking of the site, I may be changing the hosting soon. (Not sure yet.) Thinking of doing it myself. UEA is already being hosted by me, and I'm working on a new website for Kerry, so we'll see. I might just do it myself to save some money...

Well, it's been a few months, so I figured I'd post a comic.
It's been difficult to write, and find time in general for anything lately. Even my WoW playing has taken a hit. Not happy. Basically, I've trying to work for my dad, to help all of us out, but at the same time, I'm trying to find a real job. Nothing good so far...
Fortunately, all these problems have put me into a creative mood, so I was able to get a comic out. I'm gonna go write the next issue and see if I can get a panel or two made before I go to bed tonight.
I lost a very dear friend yesterday... There was no warning. I was working on my computer, it rebooted, and my 2nd monitor fried. Garbage, then the smell of burning silicon sent a chill down my spine. It's hard to even look at it without getting kinda teary. I loved that monitor, and working with two had become so natural to me. It's got a 3-year warranty, and I bought it 1.2 years ago, so I'm gonna send it back to be repaired/replaced, but until then, it's just kinda hard to look at. I don't have another LCD, or I'd replace it, but until I send it back, it's gonna stay where it is.
Yeah, I know it sounds pathetic, but it's effectively cut my efficiency in half. It's hard to work after being used to it for so long...

I just finished reading (virtually) all of the comic series "Gold Digger". (Up to 56 of the color series. It's all I own. *crys*) And I don't know why, but it made me want to do more comics.
So volia! Granted, I'm leaving you with a cliffhanger, but what good story wouldn't? It also makes it hard that I don't do multiple pages at once, which would allow for a more comic-bookish feel to the series.
But at any rate, I've been working, trying to get some money, and through it all, I've been developing storylines. Writing down what I can to make S&D even better. Course, before I can get to those comics, I gotta get past the point we're at now, which is giving me a bit of artist's block.
Well, back to work. I'm gonna try and get another comic at least planned out before Halloween. (Maybe a Halloween special? Hmm...)

But for how long?
Kinda surprised that the site came back when I renewed another site. But I decided to go with it. Wanted to renew the site at the beginning of the year, but oh well.
Uploaded the 1 comic I did while the site was down. I'm hoping I can work on more for our New-Year-Bash I'm planning on working on... I figured, a ton of comics, and a major update to the website in order to add a lot of the new features I've been planning to add for a while... Like being able to get an email when I post things other than the comic. Like news, wallpapers, or even something else.
I know I don't have the time for it, but I'd love to redo the two flash animations to use FLV files (since they're a bit better for them...) but I'd also love to animate/improve them. I'd keep the old ones as the "classic" versions, but I severely doubt I could successfully do this. It's mostly a time factor...
Well, here's to a renewed life to the comic! May it last for at least 4 comics! ;p
