Work, work, work... Monday February 20th, 2012 12:03:29 am PST
Sometimes it scares me how much work I have to do to get prepared for a comic. I've been spending most of the day finishing/updating a character model that I need for Friday's comic, including a really nice shirt. What's worse is, after that, I have to model a Dining room, a kitchen, bedrooms, a backyard, some kids AND re-work some of the exterior of the mansion set! And that only takes me up to issue 200! After that, I've got a lot more sets I need to build to finish out the GameWorld Saga, and I'm not even sure what else I'm going to need for the other storyline!
Now, add to that, a full-time job which, right now, doesn't pay, but hopefully WILL pay once we work out a contract with a client. If that contract is worked out, I'll have a year of paid full-time work which is going to lower the amount of time I can spend on S&D. I would love it if I could make Sara and David profitable... Maybe I'll add a donation button to the site. I could definitely use the extra money to help pay for the website, software and other things...
Speaking of issue 200, it's coming up! I've finished writing it, and WOW! It's going to be amazing! I can't wait to start work on it, but I've got to get the aforementioned modeling done first. Not sure if I'm going to have time for a special something other than the currently-planned super-200 issue, but I would like to do something...
